Privacy
Privacy Notice
This site collects only the information reasonably needed to run the music site, respond to messages, measure engagement, and keep supporter records.
What may be collected
- Aggregate engagement counts such as page views, scroll depth, audio plays, completion events, support clicks, broad site design variant, and daily dwell/scroll totals. Analytics does not use a persistent visitor identifier, session identifier, message identifier, or free-form metadata.
- Information you submit in supporter notes, comments, and letters, such as your name, email, track preference, message content, and optional Cash App handle.
- Basic technical metadata needed for abuse prevention and security. The application uses a keyed, shortened pseudonymous value derived from the connection IP address; it does not store the raw address in its application database.
How it is used
- Operate and improve the site.
- Respond to submissions and maintain supporter records.
- Detect abuse, spam, or misuse.
Music visualization
The visualizer responds to the song previews played on this site. It does not capture your screen, browser-tab audio, microphone, or other applications.
Third parties
Release players connect to YouTube only after you select Load player. Select Play inside the loaded player to start the video. They use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. Playback may involve information processing by Google under its own privacy policy. Direct YouTube links are also available.
The Apple Music artist profile connects to Apple only after you choose Open artist profile. Its portrait preview is served by this site. Apple’s own privacy terms apply inside the embedded profile; you can close it or use the direct Apple Music link.
The site may rely on third-party infrastructure and outbound links, including Cloudflare, Netlify, GitHub, Stripe, Cash App, Twitch, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. Their own privacy terms apply when you use their services.
Sale and advertising
This site does not sell submitted personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Outbound services may collect information under their own notices when you follow a link or use an embedded service.
Purchases
When direct purchases are available, Stripe processes payment and card details on its own checkout page. This site stores order and payment references, the purchased release, price, and payment status. It does not store card details. A secure browser cookie links a purchase to its download for seven days; only a hash of that cookie is stored with the order. Refund and dispute notifications can remove download access.
Merchandise checkout links may open a separate store. That store provides its own shipping, returns, and privacy information. The site does not automatically send your music purchases to a merchandise supplier.
Retention
Automatic deletion is currently not enabled for daily aggregate engagement records, application abuse-event records, rate-limit buckets, or expired application IP blocks. These records may remain until cleanup is enabled or they are deleted during maintenance. Supporter notes, comments, and letters are retained while they are needed for moderation, artist communication, or recordkeeping, then reviewed for deletion. Payment and order records, if purchases are enabled, may be retained as needed for fulfillment, fraud prevention, disputes, accounting, and legal obligations.
Children
This is a general-audience music site and is not directed to children under 13. Please do not submit personal information for a child under 13 through the site forms. If the site operator learns that a submission contains a child’s personal information without an appropriate lawful basis or parental process, the record will be deleted.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit forms and can clear optional visual preferences or short-lived support-form context from local or session storage through your browser. To request access to or deletion of a submitted message, use the site letter form, use “Privacy request” as the subject, and include the approximate submission date plus enough detail to identify the record. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
